Once again, we had a fantastic time with the Milwaukee Admirals Hockey team. Roscoe, the team's mascot, donned the blindfold again for a blind axe throw right on the ice. As always, Roscoe did not disappoint!! Way to go Roscoe!!!

Our Head Axe Instructor, Dave Sparks led the Wisconsin Scottish and did clan Donald proud by putting on a great on-ice demonstration!

May 1 & 2, 2010

We're donning our Stetson's and heading to Texas!!! Since we're heading to such a big and great southern state we will just have to pack a few Bowie knives to strap on for the day as well.

Come join us for an incredible event - The Warrior Dash...the most incredible, insanely wild race you will ever experience. After you've run the course come by and learn to sail a tomahawk and knife into some white oak!!

Red Frog Events will offer you the best race, music and gathering in Texas and our professional instructors will guarantee you will have a great time learning to throw the steel.

May 15 & 16, 2010.

This will be our 3rd consecutive appearance at the Janesville Renaissance Fair. Make sure you come out and support this wonderful not-for-profit fair; they give directly back to the community! Lords and Ladies will gather for merriment, market places and performers to show their talents. We will be providing knife and axe throwing demonstrations throughout the day and offering instruction as well.

Also, come see if our Head Knife Instructor, Jonathan, overcomes the challenge of sticking 500 knives in an hour to raise money for a local cause to be announced!

The fair takes place in Traxler Park. Check back often as we will be listing the actual date once it is decided.

The Warrior Dash is the most intense obstacle course created for the warrior within. Can you climb junked cars, wade mud, run over mounds while your legs ache for level ground????

Well, after you've tackled this deviously created battlefield, stop by our tent and learn to throw knives and axes from our professional instructors. And before you ask... No! This is no carnival set up. and... Yes! Our knives and axes are real, our instructors can use them and we will teach you on the spot!!!

Ahoy me mateys!!! Set sail for Port Washington June 4th - 6th in 2010. Pirates will invade the Port in a Stunt Show (look for your favorite knife & axe throwers) as the city is taken over by pirates!
We will be instructing all scallywags in the art of knife and axe throwing and demonstrating our skills! This year we will be having an instructor competition pitting our axe and knife throwing against each other for braggin rights!!
If ye be too good a thrower we may shanghai you off to our next performance where ye shall be forced to perform before new crowds!

Labor Day weekend, 2010!!! Come to the biggest, most fun and great spirited event in southeastern Wisconsin and top off your summer!!!

This will be our 5th Anniversary for Midwest Knife & Axe Throwers! The WI Highland Games is where we came up with the idea to form an official troupe in 2005.

Maybe we can talk Kirsten into baking celebration cup cakes for the first batch of throwers each day!!!

Each day the Clan Challenge is fun to watch as different clans get together to throw for a plaque! Clan Donald took home the award in 2009...of course our head axe instructor Dave belongs to this clan and he contributed heavily in the 2009 competition!

Come early and stay late - we love meeting the hundreds of great people over the weekend!! Thank you very much for always making our event one of the biggest at the Games!

We are proud to continue our tour with Warrior Dash out to the east coast!

Does the warrior within crave a challenge? Do you need to let loose and push your body to the limit? Are you attracted to large furry headgear with horns?

Warrior Dash does not stop at merely lapping a track but throws you obstacles you've only imagined. Check out their website to see the wreckage, the mud, the glory...of crossing the finish line!!!!

And when you're ready to relax afterwards....SHRUG IT OFF!!! You've got to come by and throw axes and knives with us! Our instructors will teach you hands on techniques to burrying tomahawks and 7 inch throwing knives into some good old white oak logs!

We will return to make our 2nd appearance at Shakespeare on the Edge in Monroe, WI.

Last year we met many great people and very talented actors. The food was incredible and the setting was set in a natural wooded area; truly unsurpassed! Please join us next September and enjoy a fantastically growing Ren Faire and stay for an exceptional Shakespeare performance!

We will be providing demonstrations of knife and axe throwing while teaching faire attendees in the sport as well. This festival is for an incredible cause for youth.
